I did not get into this race because it was going to be easy. I did not retain my non party status because being independent was easy. Changing a dysfunctional system from the outside, is not easy. Reforming a tax system to prevent the well connected from unfair advantage, not easy. Reforming our election system so the Republicans and Democrats do not gain unfair advantage, not easy. Pissing off a little of every voter because we are 16 trillion dollars in debt, and need to cut spending, not easy.
I will not win this race tonight, but I am thankful for the opportunity to run, and thankful for the support and words of encouragement from like minded voters who think we deserve better. Thank you.
This fight for good government reform and strong leaders will continue,
